There are 88 seats available on the Deccan Odyssey train. Its length is roughly 2300 feet (700 meters). The 21 opulent coaches include two dining cars, a conference saloon with a business center, a tiny gym, an ayurvedic spa, a bar lounge, and saloons for 12 guests. A common hallway connects the entire train, and the dining cars are located in the middle, with six passenger saloons on either side. Modern conveniences mixed with a touch of history.

Itinerary

Day 1: MUMBAI

Arrival at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus by 4:00 PM for a grand traditional welcome.
Complete check-in formalities and board your luxury cabin.
Settle in as the Deccan Odyssey departs on its regal journey.
Enjoy a gourmet dinner onboard as the train rolls out of Mumbai.

Day 2: VADODARA

Arrive in Vadodara, the cultural capital of Gujarat.
Morning excursion to the UNESCO-listed Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park.
Visit the impressive 16th-century Jami Masjid showcasing Indo-Islamic architecture.
Lunch onboard followed by a visit to the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum.
Experience royal hospitality during High Tea at the Laxmi Vilas Palace.
Witness local folk performances and culinary delights.
Return to the train as it departs for Udaipur.

Day 3: UDAIPUR

Wake up to views of the Aravalli Hills as the train arrives in Udaipur.
Visit the majestic City Palace and the stunning Crystal Gallery.
Enjoy a Scenic boat ride on Lake Pichola.
Lunch at an exclusive heritage venue.

Day 4: JODHPUR

Overnight journey to Jaipur.

Day 5: JAIPUR

Visit the 17th-century Amber Fort, renowned for its artistic Sheesh Mahal.
En route, stop at the iconic Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds).
After lunch at a city hotel, tour the opulent City Palace and its royal museum.
Free time for shopping Jaipur’s famed textiles and gemstone jewelry.
Dinner onboard as the train departs for Agra.

Day 6: AGRA

Visit the eternal symbol of love – the Taj Mahal, a masterpiece in white marble.
Lunch at a city hotel followed by a tour of the UNESCO-listed Agra Fort.
Visit Diwan-e-Am and Royal Pavilions within the fort.
Optional market visit for Pietra Dura art and Mughal-inspired souvenirs.
Return to the train for dinner and departure to Sawai Madhopur.

Day 7: RANTHAMBORE

Early morning village visit and interaction with local families.
Return to the train for an early lunch.
Afternoon safari in Ranthambhore National Park – a premier tiger reserve.
Return to the train for dinner and departure to Sawai Madhopur.

Day 8: DELHI

Arrive at Safdarjung Railway Station by 7:15 AM.

Government Service tax of 5% is additional and will be charged extra on the published tariff.
As the train runs on the tracks of the Indian Railways, the itineraries are subject to change incase of any changes in the routing etc.
Prices are subject to change incase of any amendment in the routing or other hikes such as fuel,taxes etc.
Children below 5 years of age shall be allowed free, subject to sharing of double bed with parents. This is subject to availability of double bed at the time of booking.
Presidential Suite can accommodate upto 3 adults or 2 Adults and 2 children (One child upto 5 years of age and second child up to 12 years of age) child.

Cancellation:

Any cancellation must be advised immediately by Email and subsequently confirmed by letter to the Central Reservation Division
No cancellation on cancelling 60 days prior to the departure date
Retention of 20% of ticket value on cancelling 59 - 45 days prior to the departure date
Retention of 50% of ticket Value on cancelling 44 - 30 days prior to the departure date
Retention of 100% of ticket value on cancelling 35 days prior to the departure date

Cancellation Rules

The Deccan Odyssey Train Tour is operated through a joint collaboration between the Tourism Department of Maharashtra Government.
Clique Holidays acts solely as a booking agent and holds no operational liability.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and acknowledged by us.

Special Cancellation & Refund Conditions

If the the Train Tour Operator cancels the scheduled departure for any reason, a full refundwill be provided
No refund will be issued if:
- The guest fails to follow the scheduled itinerary or shortens their journey.
- The guest is unable to obtain an Indian visa.
In case of a medical emergency, supporting medical records will be reviewed by the Train Management, and their decision will be final.
If a refund is applicable, Clique Holidays LLP reserves the right to deduct USD 100 per person as bank processing fees.
Refunds will be processed based on the Indian Rupees exchange value received at the time of payment.

Important

The scheduled train tour departure is subject to a minimum booking of 25 passengers.
All foreign passport holders must obtain an Indian visa before boarding their flight from their country of residence.
Guests are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance in their home country prior to departure.
